SolarOr was founded in 2007 by a group of researchers to serve the solar energy industry with innovative, highly efficient yet low priced products. The company's mission is to drive the cost of solar power generating system close to half of the current market price and as result to accelerate the adoption of solar energy use, in particular building sector, commercial and district building. The group incorporates specialists in physics and electro-optics, marketing, physicists, and production experts.

The company's core technical team is located in Israel and will focus on curtain wall and building façade segment in the BIPV market. This market is spurred by subsidies and aesthetic appeal and although in its infancy it has great promise since it accounts for an excess of 40% from total energy consumption.

The systemic solution allows solaror to supply its clients a complete reliable system without any need for additional wiring, installation or adjustments costs.
